Food Sensitivity Intolerance and Food Allergy

Food intolerance occurs when a food is perceived by the digestive system as an antigen and therefore the immune system reacts. There may be different reasons why foods that are theoretically harmless are perceived as antigens. Enzyme deficiency, inability to digest a substance in food, or the body’s past contact with a pathogen similar to a molecule in food can cause food intolerances. For example, in lactose intolerance, there is a deficiency of the lactase enzyme, which causes the person to have an intolerance to milk. Symptoms of Food Intolerance:

  1. Gas in The Stomach and İntestines
  2. Cramps and Swellings
  3. Stomach Pain, Cramps
  4. Burning Sensation in Stomach
  5. Headache
  6. Weakness
  7. Irritability
  8. Diarrhoea
  9. Constipation

Microbiota analysis and genetic testing provide more permanent information about your food intolerances. In our clinic, both microbiota analysis and genetic tests are performed, and the results of these tests are examined by the specialist physician and dietitian, and a personalized program is prepared. With this program, the person’s digestion is corrected and his health is reinforced.
